I don't know have I said it before, but this build was the reason I joined the site! It's absolutely awesome playstyle brought me back to the game when I thought I've already tried everything. Playing this on Master without atronach summons was something to see!

I agree, I had a very similar build, and it's probably the most fun fighting style I've found, or tied with the Bound Targe.

Really like this build, just wondering, who would you suggest for a follower?  At the moment I'm using Faendal just because he is an easy ranged companion to get, though I am thinking about getting J'zargo later.

I think I'll try this build, but with the Atronach standing stone. I have the unofficial patch which fixes the atronach stone's problem with absorbing cloak and summon spells. I am guessing Mason picked the Lord stone due to that bug.

Also, I am wondering if the spellbreaker shield would be a good idea. The ward effect would help with dragons and spellcasters, but you get staggered when the ward breaks which opens you up. Not sure if it would be a blessing or a liability.

99th like! So close to Legendary on this one. Great idea man, this looks badass. How did you apply the poisons? I thought you'd said no weapons, but, unless I'm missing something, they are the only way to poison enemies besides pickpocket, and this tank doesn't look like he's gonna be sneaking around. Did you just use a dagger?

If ever there was a character perfectly suited to Auri-El's shield this is it. Imagine "charging up" Drain Vitality or any dot shout before unleashing Auri's Shield's power for a free Unrelenting Force effect?

you don't use weapons in a typical sense, you just use a one handed weapon to apply poisons and then put it away. You don't put perks in 1-handed either.

Really, really like this build. Mine hit lvl 32 last night, quite fun to play and its by far the most resilient character ive made. So thanks for the great ideas!

I might do this build as well and use miraak's staff to add another wall. I love using his staff with my vampire and it would look so good on an argonian.
