    Dude, i was JUST researching magicka regeneration and how it could be maxed out a couple hours ago. Check out this formula i found.

    Maximum Magicka Regeneration:
    - (150%/187%) Master Robes
    - (100%/125%) Ring of Recovery
    - (25%/31%) Amulet of Akatosh
    - (100%/125%) Morokei
    - (100%/125%) The Apprentice Stone
    - (50%/62%) Restoration Recovery Perk (2/2)
    - (25%/31%) Elsweyr Fondue
    - (10%/12%) Blessing of Akatosh (Last for 8 hours)
    - (Necromage Makes enchantments and more, 25% more powerful) (Vampire Only)

    Total = 560%/698%

    Bold = Necromage Perk

    698% Magicka regen. Its almost scary when you think about it. 1000 magicka points and 698% magicka regeneration =
    - 69 magicka points per second restored during combat
    - 209 magicka points per second restored out of combat.

    There's also that meal you get from your spouse that increases Health/Stamina/Magicka by 25%.

    Food for thought....

    @ZailaWulF- The ring of recovery is a non-unique ring with several versions and slightly different names. You can sometimes buy them from radiant raiment in solitude, but must be a fairly high level to get the best one.

    @RoxasReaper- Thanks for all the necromage perk information. I also completely forgot about the Amulet of Akatosh and most of the temporary boosts.

    The build has now been updated with 3 new sections and anything I forgot which has been pointed out to me(thank you to those who did). Feedback is always welcome and if you see anything I have left out let me know.

    Added a video for my build. If you watch, remember to keep an eye on the magicka regeneration.

    One word - Fantastic.  +1

    A point this build really brings to the fore - it's more a character's weaknesses that make them fun, rather than their strengths.

    This is a great build, nice touch on adding the video I'm definitely going to try this!

    Very well thought out. Definitely deserves my like.

    Correction:  the necromage perk is in the restoration tree, not enchanting.

    I wasn't saying that it was in the enchanting skill tree.

    "An additional 525% magicka regeneration speed can be gained without utilising the necromage perk or the enchanting skill tree."

    I was referring to them as two separate things, not that the enchanting tree housed the necromage perk. Sorry for any confusion.

    I think this would synergise well with Henson's Phase Shifter. Shifting in and out of combat would increase your regeneration and helps with his pop out barrage gameplay style. Shifting also reduces the chance of you being hit

    I've always been put off pure builds of any kind, mages in particular, but making use of just four perked skills is genius! And after a few characters of laborious training I can imagine that many people are grateful for a build that doesn't depend on crafting skills!

    Good job man =]

    [+ freakin' 1]
