Damage/sneak ones I guess? Just use the DB/Nightingale set or something.

Alright i'm level 12 and having a real hard time with mages and dragons, the dragons fire breath just makes my health drop FAST and i dont have enough potions to chug down.

How do you deal with them at these levels?

Aye, as Ben said, cover is very important - probably the most important factor.  In addition, standing stone choices are important, especially at lower levels too.  The lord stone gives a 25% Magic Resistance (and some extra armor).  The atronach stone gives a 50% magic absorption.  Either of these stones will help (somewhat) against mages and dragons.  Carry potions of resist 'element' - at least one of each type.  After you see what element the enemy is using, drink the appropriate potion.  And, if role-play allows, complete the 'Agent of Mara' quest - an additional 15% magic resist will help too.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! I'm gonna go get the lord stone, that will probably help. Also wondering how i should do Agent of Mara altough i'm playing kinda bad/evil character.. Maybe something like "i'm doing it only for me" since i want that resist, lol..

Yeah, i've fought two more now and it went much better! I even managed to take down Krosis (altough a close call)

I've also got the first word for Elemental Fury, and holy crap it's ridicolous, you can take down a Dragon with 50 % health left in like, 3-4 seconds.

I always either ran around out of its breath range with my bow or got out my sword/dagger and used Elemental Fury as soon as it landed next to me - I burst it down to where it staggers at about 1/3-1/4 health and finished it off there

    1+

Started on this build after just about finishing Mason's Sorceror.

Simple build and great fun, thanks.

Decided to try this with some slight modifications. I've put less emphasis on stealth; will be using a Supple Ancient Nord Bow until an improved Honed Ancient Bow will do more damage; using a Nordic Carved Sword (*Spoiler?); and removing dual wield and adding Block. Thanks for build, Ponty!

Could the build be just as good on the vampire side or is there more for this build by joining dawngaurd other than the rune axe?
