How essential conjuration is for this build? Im not a fan of summoning. Can this build worj without it and for example spec more heavily into destruction/restoration/alteration instead?

Ok im level 14 now. Doing the Black Star quest now. Playing on expert dificulty. I have a problem with the last part of this quest. Im getting wreacked by Malyn and those mages throwing firebolts inside the star. Cant even get close to them. Any tips/advices?

Perhaps grab the Atronach stone and brew some resist fire potions.

Thank you! With Atronach and a ring with 36% fire resistance it was piece of cake :D

Lvl 22 currently, I burned throu all of my petty soul gems(100 from vendor + all i found so far), my enchanting is at 82. What would be the best/fastest way to max it? Does enchanting using grand souls level the skill faster than when using petty souls? Cos I have around 10k gold, could buy around 20 empty grand soul gems(or smaller ones) and use them for enchanting but not sure if that would be enough to bring me to 100. I have a Black star but it would take ages to return to town every time I kill one bandit to enchant something with grand soul. Any suggestions?

you think this build would work fine with light armor? Im assuming heavy was taken both forth the look and the armor rating, but I have a hard time enjoying heavy armor builds without the steed stone. So much of your inventory weight is taken up just carrying your gear +(

I believe the Heavy Armor is for protection, as you are meant to be a tank both oyhsically and magically.

I wish you could change the name of potions...

I hear your pain on that.  I see you play on PC.  I don't think it would be too game breaking to give yourself the perk using the console so that heavy armor weighed nothing.  But I hate carry-capacity weight mini-games that RPGs tack on.

Trying this out and the build is starting to get away from me.  I'm about level 30...but ever since I picked up Mage Armor perk, I have better armor with pure robes.  The character is starting to feel more and more like a pure mage who leaps in and hits things every so often with her flaming sword of AWESOMENESS.

Loving the build...just can't take the leap to heavy armor.  Maybe when ebony and daedric start showing up.
