I think you'd really have to grind for it. I'm level 14, and my Enchanting is only 55, but I have been levelling the other skills quite a lot, as well as one handed from my enchanted sword. I recommend also levelling destruction alongside it for those augment perks, since you'd be getting a lot of damage to undead like Mason said with Fire Enchanter, Augmented Flames, Enchanter 4/5 and a Silver Sword.

One tip for leveling enchanting: go to the smith and make a ton of daggers, buy as many filled petty gems as you can, enchant the daggers with damage stamina, sell the daggers for a profit.  Lather, rinse, repeat.

I find it really easy to do this in White run: you can buy soul gems from the mage in the dragons reach and the general store guy in town.  After enchanting and sell daggers, you can rest for 48 hours and do it all again.  Enchanting goes up pretty fast this way.

I've really been enjoying this build, thanks!

One issue I have is that I'm nearing level 50, but my armor class isn't that great.  It's in the mid 300's or so.  How did you get yours armor to almost 500?  I have the lord stone and I use the Stone Skin spell.

Cast Ebonyflesh instead of Stone. Make sure all the heavy armor perks are in place...

If you focused more on offense during the playthrough then your armor skills may be lagging behind...

I'd go to Riften and complete Unfathomable Depths, that should easily put you back on track...

Thanks Mason, great tip!  I'm still a n00b with this game after > 200 hours of game play lol.

I take it you never switch out of steel plate.  I assume this is because the weight isn't worth it for Dwarven/Ebony.  I ask mainly because I heard there is an unresolved glitch with the Ancient Knowledge quest so the reward should still apply to steel plate.

I wish it was easy to download the whole reply thread on your article.  I'm sure you get tired of answering these questions over-and-over again.  But you could also consider adding a "n00b" section for people like me =P

I kept steel plate for its aesthetics, it's also easy to find extra copies of the set on bandit chiefs in case you want to switch your enchantments around a little. Yeah, A Knowledge won't work with Dwarven anymore for some reason, any other set seems to be fine though...

    Awesome!  Thanks again :)

Yes, I really like the look of the steel plate.  I'm not too keen on wandering around looking like a deadra - that's for another build =D

I think I answered my own question: from what I read the armor cap is at 567 which shouldn't be too hard to reach with steel plate and the perks and spells you suggest using.

I find it really nice not to have to use the "fortify" loop exploit.  I may just use whatever fortify potions I find, but I haven't used any yet (for enchant/smith).

I really love this build! I played something similar in Oblivion too because I am a big fan of the Elder Scrolls sorcerer! I am curious though, is it wise to go full atronach (the advanced stone in Mason's Sentinel build) with it, have anyone tried it? I am asking this because of roleplay mostly, the TES sorcerers are natural born atronachs!

I noted a couple of times in the build (and on the final few lines) that if you want to run the character as an atronach you should focus on necromancy instead to avoid the absorption/atronach glitch...

I tried a little different version of it, also taking augmented frost2/2 and using Chaos enchantment to obtain an awesome elemental damage.
