Hi, I have a few questions regarding this build, I'm still quite the noob when it comes to Skyrim (I have altism) but this guy fits my needs perfectly.   On to the questions :

    - Is there an easy way to find enchants?  I found a few and disenchanted them but I can't find any flame or lightning enchants, I did find a "Staff of flame" but for some reason I could not disenchant it, I'm guessing it does not work with staves?   Note that I'm only level 8 so it might be the reason why.

    - At this level, the flame astronarch is... well completely OP but are there other conjuration spells I can use while he's up or it's 1 pet max (ie: raise corpse)

    - In the quest section there's Ironbind Barrow, but that's a dungeon I believe... do you simply kill the girl for her stuff?

    - Last one, is there an easy way to get soulstone other than buying them from a mage?

    Thanks!

    Hi!

Merchants or just adventuring for enchants. Smiths are your best bet if you're looking for weapon enchants. Won't take long to find what you want.

You'll need the Twin Souls perk to get two atronachs...

Kill girl, steal armor. Also that dungeon provides a number of enchanted items and 2 x black soul gems.

Not really, easiest route is to join the college and buy gems from the mages. You only need to create roughly 200 enchanted items to get enchanting to 100. Given that each mages sells around 15 - 20 gems every 48 hours it's not that hard. Nord ruins always have a fair few gems and Dwemer ruins have absolutely loads of the things and most of them are filled up for you.

Is it worth putting one handed perks on this build or does it not need them with enchanting and alchemy on it's side?

This characters gets tons of power from enchanting/destruction perks...

One handed really won't be needed, unless you add smithing as well you aren't going to see enough physical damage coming through to make all the perks worth it...

Alchemy can be dropped from this character as well...

I think I'm gonna have to cave in and try this. I've always wanted to since it looks so damn awesome but I've always stopped myself when I see Enchanting. It has always been a bore for me, one of my most hated skills, but I cannot deny strong enchants really power up a build. Any advice on levelling Mason? I've heard something like 200+ soul gems are needed to get it to 100, so should I just farm filled gems?

Best way to play the character is just get a healthy stock of gems early (about 50 petty gems) and then just play normally from that point...

Use the soul trap spell to fill the gems while summons work away at enemies to keep conjuration high. Target dwarven ruins, nearly every dwemer machine drops more gems for you to play with and it keeps you away from the boring merchants...

Amazing build. I'm trying it right now. I just wanted to know how to get enchanting to 60 by level 12.
