I am basing this build off of the Medjay that actually existed in Egypt, coming into existence around 2700 B.C. in the old kingdom. Medjay (pronouced medj-ai or medj-eye) were expert swordsmen and archers and protected the tombs of Egypt from graverobbers and anyone would try to steal the tombs' treasures. The Medjay also acted as the pharoah's personal bodyguards.

"Being a medjay means protecting all the people of Skyrim. Not just protect them, but work for their well-being as well as protecting the current emperor of Skyrim."

Namamir was born in the year 3e 433 in the province of Hammerfell. He was raised as a normal kid, did normal things like playing with other redguard kids and dreaming of going on grand adventures. He had no idea that fate had greater things in store for him. He was quite oblivious to the fact that he was the last in a long line of protectors of the emperor.

One night whlle his mother was making dinner in the small cottage, the small redguard's father, Rinithik lifted him onto his knee and told him a story about how his father and grandfather were both bodyguards of royalty. His father recited the story from memory.

"Son, I was a Medjay, like your grandfather, Baurus and generations before him, we were tasked with protecting the tombs of Tamrielic emperors, and sometimes even the emperors themselves, from any threats.

He paused, noticing the perplexed look on his son's face, and explained in a way that would be easier for him to understand,

"Threats like graverobbers and thieves, we also acted as the emperor's personal body guards."

Namamir noticed his son had his hand raised, "Yes son? I am sure you have a million questions to ask.".

    "Dad, what's a Medjay?"

His father laughed a little, mentioning that he answered that question already, "Do you have other questions before I continue?"

"What Emperor were you a bodyguard for? Has anyone stolen anything under your and grandfather's watch?"

HHis father scratched his head, trying to remember."Well, I was one of twenty bodyguards for Titus Mede I and your grandfather was one of three bodyguards for emperor Pelagius II. As for whether we or our fellow bodyguards let any thief or graverobber in unnoticed, the answer is no, if we didn't kill them, the traps in the tombs did".

His father cleared his throat, "As I was saying, your grandfather and I were Medjay to Attrebus Mede and Uriel Septim IV respectively and we killed anyone who was thought to be in the process of doing some royal graverobbing. We also foiled the plots of thieves and assassins thoughout Hammerfell." Suddenly, Rinithik stopped talking and lowered his head, as if for a moment of silence for a fallen comrade.

"Dad, what is it?" His son asked, worried.

"Son, your grandfather, he died protecting the emperor from the invading Aldmeri Dominion." He struggled to hold back tears, he wanted to appear emotionally strong in front of his son.

Many years later, Namamir, now fully grown, left for Skyrim to become Titus Mede II's Medjay, or personal bodyguard. His father taught him everything about being a Medjay. Everything from being skilled with and using a sword to being equally skilled in using a bow properly.

On the boat from the harbor to Solitude, he could hear his father saying 'remember son, being a Medjay is not just a badge or symbol of office, it is also a responsibilty to both the Emperor and the people of the region. Always be kind, courteous and always help whenever the situation requires it.'

Against forsworn, bandits and higwaymen, the medjay uses his bow to pick these annoying mosqiutoes of one by one. If he becomes swarmed by these enemies, he can use the slowtime power gained in the Imperious mod so he can manage them and aim his power attacks and well aimed shots more effectively.

Against mages, Ramamir uses his axe, Osiris' Trap, along with Spellbreaker to guard against the magic attacks and rushes in and slows down time so he has more time to execute his attack.

Ramamir uses his marked for death or drain vitaly shout plus his axe and shield to diminish the dragonpriest's fire or frost magic and then when he see an opening, he runs iin and hacks and slashes the undeead enemy too pieces. He then takes one of every dead dragonpriest's mask as a reminder oof the courage one can find against unsurmountable odds.

When Ramamir goes face to snout with a dragon, he again utilizes his axe and shield. While protecting himself from the dragons' breath with his raised shield, he shouts to the sky, causing the dragon to lose the ability of flight and crash to the ground. Once grounded, the redguard can use his axe to hack into the rock hard scales of the mighty beast. He might even throw in some marked for death or drain vitality to help quicken its death. if the dragon should fly of,f he repeats the process, dragonrend then either weakening shout and axe, or just axe to the neck.

He can also use abilities gained from the Ordinator mod if he finds himself in hot water.

The Medjay seem to have lost something...or someone

After he escapes Helgen, Ramamir goes to Riverwood to start the Main Quest to help Skryim and its emperor rid the land of the deadliest scrouge it has ever known. He then goes to Solitude to swear his fealty to the emperor and joins The Imperial Legion. After doing this, he goes to Whiterun to join the Companions. While there, he forges his armor and weapon from back home. He then kills someone to start the Destroy the Dark Brotherhood questline. He then goes to Riften to start the Dawnguard questline. He then undergoes the Dragon Priest Quests to destroy the evil that is plaguing Skyrim. After thiat is completed, he travels to Solstheim to destroy the being who is causing the island and Skyrim so much worry. the false Dragonborn will not harm anyone, including the emperor. If he does, he has to answer to the Medjay.

Emperor Attrebus Mede, for whom Rinithik was a medjay

Main Quest - a courier from the emperor told Ramamir of a great evil plaguing Skyrim, he must put an end to it

Dawnguard - Harkon has plan to shroud Skyrim in eternal darkness, the emperor's protector has to stop him

Destroy the Dark Brotherhood - rumor has spread that a group of assassins mean to kill Titus Mede II, Namamir, being sworn to protect the emeror, must not allow this to happen

The Imperial Legion - The medjay is as obedient to the emperor as a dog is to his master so joining this is a no brainer

Dragonborn - Miraak is hatching a plan to return to olstheim, which will not only endanger the emperor, but all creature, people and fauna native to that island, but, in time, if left unchecked it will also consume SKyrim, Ramamir must put an end to this before the dragonpriest can complete his conquest

It has finally arrived. I said it before, I'll say it now. I love the build. Great roleplay and a great inspiration for the build. You seem to have fixed the spelling which is great. That was my only thing that I thought should have been fixed. Great job, man. And great that you gave a callback to Baurus, he was one of my favs in Oblivion. Great job again.

You post builds so frequently. How do you find the time to play test them? Or do you just not playtest them?

Whne I am working on a build, I make that build's character in Skyrim and playtest him then. The character playstyles that I find are going well, I keep in my Skyrim character list, I only delete characters from my Skyrim character list that I feel are thoroughly playtested. Just churning out build after build without playtesting characters would be foolish, and as such, I strive to avoid that.

As to how I find time to playtest my character builds, in my free time, I load Skyrim and playtest a random character, out of a max of six or seven of my favorite builds, and playtest him, I make sure to stick to that character's story and try to see Skyrim through his or her eyes and pick what choices I feel that that character would be most likely to pick.
