It feels almost liberating, being able to take pickpoctketing and lockpicking perks, which I normally avoid. Also can you pickpocket people when you're detected( like at the court in solitude in your video)?1+ like from me.

Must say, Solitude is a thief's haven, I netted over a thousand septims no risk, plus several more thousand after that.

    Good and effective. +1!

I've been exploring Pickpocketing as well, though on a different and unfortunately short-lived angle. The other day I found out it's possible to pickpocket a Forsworn Briarheart's Heart, which immediately kills him. I wondered for a bit if it was possible to expand this to other creatures, but it seems impossible :/ Makes little sense I can still Plated armors off of bandits but not a Falmer's bow, for instance (though what I really wanted was to see if there were equally "critical" items as the Heart - why not "shutdown" Dwarven Centurions by silently removing their core?). Seems the only way to use Pickpocketing in combat is really through Poisoning, or only with a very specific kind of enemies at high levels (Misdirection, etc.). Oh well :/

And the game could really use more quests based on reverse pickpocketing (planting evidence, etc.).

    Otherwise, once again, nice build!

    How about some challenges? :P

    Examples:

Novice - Stole all the gold and stuff from a Giant's Lair

Medium - Stole all the gold and valuable things from the bandits without fighting

Hard - Stole all the gold and stuff from a Dragon's Lair without harm the dragon (unfortunatly needs "Dragon's Rising" quest)

    Everything without fighting

Well that's up to you to do! I'm just telling you what to play not how to play it. I just put in some basic thieving tips, since everyone is used to their assassin characters - which they'd be familiar with the prison system on. I was really trying to avoid killing people unless absolutely necessary on this guy - someone with standards.

Of course you can modify it to suit your needs, I wrote this primarily as a build for a short playthrough, it gets a little boring once you've pretty much stolen all of civilized Skyrim (even after one or two cities it starts getting a little samey), and Pickpocketing, Lockpicking and Sneak are so easy it isn't funny.

As much as I love thief builds, I still find the entire lockpicking tree disappointing. Pretty much every single perk in the tree can be made redundant by not returning the Skeleton Key to the Ebonmere at the end of the Thieves Guild questline. Other than that though, +1 for giving some love to the thief playstyle.
