Through the magic of the Elderscrolls and the technology of the Vault, and possibly some Frankenstein thrown in, we have the emergence of a new entity, Varg'Ette. Half Wolf, Half Altmer, and ALL SLOAD, Varg'Ette was designed to instill fear and much trembling into the hearts of Tamriel Vault dwellers brave enough to venture into Character Building, bringing much plague and disorder. May their domination last for many Eras and may their union cause much wailing and beating of the breast in despair. WOE, woe unto all, woe unto all, for the Entity, monster, call it what you will, but the...

    It comes...

    The Build...

Thanks Lis. Is that Comic Sans?! :P. After "it comes" I think we will all need some Sload Soap.

There have been many changes recently and I think we are all still getting used to things here. I hope we can all agree that this platform has many features to be excited about and holds so much potential for the future. The new icons are gorgeous, the theme is dramatic and inspiring and the activity feed is more engaging than before. With a Like button now installed on Group discussions, as well as a tagging system similar to Blogs, we now have the same functionality as we did on Ning. While we are still learning the ropes to some degree, I am happy with the progress we have made as a team and delighted with the enthusiastic responses and level of member engagement the site has generated.

To start listing some of these changes, I would first like to give a warm welcome to Vargr who joins us as Co-Host of the CB Group alongside Lissette. Good luck to you both, I am certain Character Building is in safe hands :)

Lis and Vargr have taken over the role of CB hosts from Albino and Curse Never Dying. Curse Never Dying has resigned from his role as Character Building host. He has put a great deal of himself into that group and worked very hard during his time there and so has the admin and host team's thanks for his commitment.

Albino who has worked very hard over the years and did a tremendous job of transferring CB content across from Ning, has taken full control of Tips and Tricks and left the Workshop behind as well. The Workshop is one of my favourite groups and much of that is due to Albino's influence. Thank you again. Al. The T&T group is definitely secure.

Teccam, Albino's long-time Co-host of T&T, has also resigned his hosting position. He will be missed too, ever has he been a solid presence on the site.

Bonelord has resigned his role as host of the RPG Group to assume the mantle of Forum host. Best of luck Bonelord :) This leaves Raid as sole host of RPG at present.

Dragonborn1721 has returned as Workhop host, a role he is familiar and comfortable with. There is absolutelty no doubt the Workshop will continue to be a place of inspiration and fun. Good luck DB :)

In terms of moving forward I think we are all eager to get settled in properly and continue to build on everything here. The forums have an Introduce Yourself sub-forum where members can have their own "hello" thread. Please don't be afraid to use it.

Other things worth mentioning are the Featured Works section of the main page. This area will act in the same way our old one did on Ning, currently it displays Golden Fools Getting Started: How Blog Tags Work, Albino's CB Likes Archive and Sotek's How To Get Started in Tamriel Vaut.

In addition, Dagonborn1721 has posted a few interesting tips here, the exciting one being customisable feeds.

As Ning doesn't have much time left, please remember that any content uploaded from the 1st July will need to be transferred. This needs to happen quickly now as the clock is ticking :)

Who? Who is this new Workshop host?  I go by The Mighty Deeb now Phil :P (though I've been thinking of changing it to Deeb the Mighty)

In all seriousness, I am glad to be back on the team, and working with the Workshop again, it's been something I've dearly missed in the last few months and I hope to bring in some really cool new Events, Features and of course Corners to make it a group where we can not only post our works in progress but also gather together to work on collaborative projects.

Congrats/welcome to the new hosts. Best of luck in your new roles. Welcome back, Deeb. You were a great host previously and I am sure you will do great again.

Regarding my resignation from Skyrim CB, I just want to add that I'm still going to be around just a little bit longer as I fix stuff up and help the new hosts get settled into their positions, but otherwise my presence is going to be rather limited. In other words, you might see me messing around with a few things in Skyrim CB, but for all intents and purposes Vargette is its new host.
