New Games from E3 for the RPG Group

  • June 10, 2018

So, E3's going to be bringing us game after game over the next few days and this thread's just going to be a chance for me to throw down some games that I think are going to fit in awesomely here. Feel free to drop your thoughts about them or any games I don't mention.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the new From Software game and we know how popular they are in the group. Personally really excited for this one.

Dying Light 2, while the first game wasn't really an RPG, I have a bit of hope for this one fitting in here because Chris Avellone is confirmed to be working on it (and if there's a guy that can make an RPG, it's Chris).

Cyberpunk 2077 is an obvious one. But to be honest, I think it might be good enough that CDProjektRed should just get their owng roup :P We'll see but this is potentially huge IMO.

Anyway, there will be more and I'll continue updating this thread, but these are some of the best RPG's that I think will come out of E3 this year.

I don't want to start anything riots.....but CD Project Red is probubly my second favorite video game maker outside of Bethesda and I would love to see them and their games get a little corner of the site. I know the community already has a healthy love for the Witcher series which still has lots of life and a mountain of lore that could be delved into. However, Cyberpunk 2077 is already BELOVED by tons of people on the site! And that was even before we had that sweet trailer that just dropped.

Honestly, not an admin but I think if we could get people really into the game and posting content for it (that's the main problem, no point having a group if it's going to get Witcher level activity) there'd have to be a serious debate about giving CD their own group. I think if we could even get together a half dozen builds, lore articles, profiles and guides (a half dozen of each) then there'd be a plausible debate about it.

Just not sure, but it'd need to be a fair bit of content IMO. Still would be awesome :D
