    The Battle-Mage

Gameplay: First what should be noted is that your home, until you create Tel Uvirith, will be located INSIDE the well in WolverineHall, which is a mod that unfortuntely was deleted from modhistory, but as it's my favourite home, i have it backed up on my MEGA. ALSO, you will immediately start the game with an Ebony War Axe, the reason is stated in Sedave's history. To add this axe, go to the console by pressing "~", and typing: player->additem "ebony war axe" 01

This axe is NOT your main weapon! It is simply a treasured item to be used only as backup, and NEVER to be sold.

Now then, Playing as a Battle-Mage you will Almost exclusively use spells. It's only when you run out of magic that you will bring out your Axe. Destruction is always your first option though. She is also a master enchanter, and will attempt to enchant and trap souls whenever possible. To help out with this, she will attempt to find Azura's Star, as she is a member of the Tribunal Temple, she will also serve ONLY the 3 living gods, and their Reclamations. Sotha Sil will be her favourite, and so she will do the Tribunal Questline earlier than most normally would. As a Battle-Mage, she will always use heavy armor. There is a mod called "Telvanni Cephalapod Armour down below, and is laying on the ground at the Sadrith Mora Port. Since it is simply laying there and not being sold, if you want a piece of the armour, take it and drop the appropriate amount of money into the ocean, unless you are good with the construction set and can put it as an item you can buy elsewhere. Also, you should go to Ghostgate and grab Julan for your companion as early as possible. He will be your only friend throughout your adventures, and is always by your side. Since conjuration is one of your major skills, you'll heavily rely on that as well to do much of your battles.

Since you were born under the sign of the Atronach, you cannot regenerate Magicka by resting. However, you will have the largest Magicka boost in the game, with only High Elves under the Atronach beating you in how much magicka you have. Magicka can be regained by using Restore Magicka potions, Spell Absorbtion, or Absorb Magicka spells.

Useful items for your battlemage include: The Mantle of Woe, Necromancer's Amulet, Aeslip's Ring, and the Mentor's Ring. Don't think a mage doesn't need high Endurance, in fact, this is the stat you should max before anything else because it's the only stat that doesn't have a retroactive effect. Basically endruance sets the number of hitpoints you get per level, which means that every level you get where your endurance isn't at 100 is hitpoints you will never be able to get. Max this stat as fast as possible, it should sit at 100 when you hit level 10 at the latest, or your character will simply be gimped, mage or not. This is also why The Lady is such a good starting sign for any character.

I tend to enchant most of my gear to increase magicka, but you can do as you wish. Spells are more likely to fail when you are low on fatigue.as well, so have a restore fatigue potion or spell. Many people might ask why I chose Dunmer. Well, as great as an Altmer or Bosmer are in the beginning, the Dunmer's resistances and natural effects turn out to be best in the long run. Plus, I cant imagine a non-dunmer becoming head of an entire house, minus House Hlaalu

Roleplay: Collect LOTS of books, essentially making your own library, and start out joining House Telvanni. She will later join the Morag Tong to let out her anger from the feelings of her mothers abuse, the Tribunal Temple so that she may pay homage to her ancestors and the Tribunal, with Sotha Sil being her favourite. She will then start the main quest, and then join Clan Aundae for more power!

Background: Sedave Mora was born in the city of Tear in Morrowind. Her father was a descendant of a member of  House Mora, and one of the few to keep the surname "Mora". Her mother is a rich Dres noble. Growing up in Tear as the daughter of a noble, she was raised in a rich environment, and was pampered and spoiled her whole young life. Despite living the life of a noble, she always looked up to her father, Vedaves Mora, who was a guard at the front gates of the city. Behind the back of his wife, he would show his daughter simple axe techniques. When Sedave was 14, her father was killed while on guard duty by a drunk skooma addict who had attacked him in unexpected drunken attack. The drunken khajiit had managed to swiftly cut her father's throat.

After her fathers death, Sedave's mother became a bitter and abusive mother, constantly beating and starving her daughter, so devastated by her husbands death that she would abuse her own daughter. This would lead to Sedave's current state of PTSD. During one of her abusive attacks, Sedave had discovered she was a natural born magician. As her mother was about to beat her, Sedave accidentally pulled off a piece of bound armor, protecting her from her mother. After discovering this talent, she trained herself alone in her room, until the day she turn 18. On her 18th birthday, she snuck into her mother's room and took the ebony War Axe. The ebony war axe that her father treasured more than anything, as it was his grandfathers blade, and his grandfather's before him. This war axe is now her most precious treasure. She left her house that day, and fled north. To Vvardenfell. Using the roots of her nobility, she easily kept herself alive with bribes and high payments. She would eventually find herself a Hireling of House Telvanni, and continue to master her skills until she finally became a Master of House Telvanni.. She locks herself in her Telvanni tower as often as she can.

Personality: Sedave suffers from OCD, PTSD, and Bipolar Disorder. When she finds a subject that even slightly interests her, she gathers as many textbooks as she can on the subject, and sends letters to anyone whom she think could give her more information. Because of this, she is in good terms with various libraries, whom she pays great coin to for rare books and scrolls. She has an obsession with keeping her textbooks and scrolls in perfect order of height from tallest to smallest, making her library in her tower difficult for anyone but her to navigate. Every morning she takes a potion she specifically concocted to help with her bipolar. Without this potion, she has dramatic mood swings. One minute she is crying in the corner, shaking in fear from PTSD from images that remind her of her mother, and the next she will be calmly grinning with joy whilst flipping the pages of her favourite textbooks. With her potion, she is always calm, collected, although a bit dull and emotionless, almost seeming as if she is devoid of all emotion and only cares about logical conclusions. During most of her time, she locks herself in her tower, experimenting with new spells, old spells, and various forms of magick. She only goes outside, every day at exactly 12:45 pm so she arrives at exactly 1:00 pm at the couriers office to send her large stack of letters.

She is selfish when on her self-medicated potion, and selfless when off of it. Despite being on her medication, she has banned all talk about "parents & parenting" in her tower so she wont go into a major state of depression and sadness. Her only positive relationship is with Divayth Fyr, whom she looks up to as her idol, and he always responds to her letters with positive encouragement and interest in her studies.

Custom Robe (Credit to Mason for textures)

The Custom Robe's textures were made by Mason. It was originally a Drakes Pride replacer but I prefer having another replacer, so I made the robe into a simple Exquisite Robe.

The Custom Robe will be found atop the table next to Sellus Gravius, and on the table next to Caius Cosades if you miss it. This is a robe to show off your nobility.

If you dont feel safe downloading files from MEGA, I've included the two mods that were on MEGA below as attatched files.

This looks great, I´m glad that more MW builds are popping up.

Just heads up, I´ve corrected your tags. They should be like this:  Type:Build, Game:MW, Specialization:Magic

Also, I wouldn´t mind if the character description was somewhere at the top. That way the readers will know right from the start the basic information about your character. You know, that: "Name, Specialization, Major and Minor Skills"

Am I the only one whose been doing morrowind builds? I'm rather new here
Also thanks for the tags, It's not a strong point of mine XD

  • November 20, 2015

Yeah, you´re pretty much the only one who makes Morrowin builds in this moment

  • November 20, 2015

Ok, I´ve read it for second time and there´s one thing that quite bothers me. And that is that the first part of the build is pretty much a wall of text. It could use two-three pictures there to break the text a little.

Ill try to get more good shots in future builds :P
This particular build was just....kinda special to me, so it was big for a reason.

  • November 20, 2015

I understand that. Though you can use artwork from other sources too, you don´t have to use only screenshots.

If I have screenshots AND art then the appearance wont be consistant and make my OCD go crazy man >.>

  • November 20, 2015

Alright, I understand. I´ve been working with a guy with OCD for some time now. Just ask Kael
