Whoo boy, done everything but actually watched the video because I left my headphones...Nevermind, I am home alone, headphones are for losers.
Okay, so obvious negative right now is that it's purely a cinematic trailer, but who cares, very awesome. So it looks like the game might be heavily featuring Mind Flayers if I'm correct (which I think I am) which could be really awesome. They're an enemy type that I think can be a bit underwhelming in most video game adaptions because of how hard they are to balance.
Not much else to comment on with the trailer I suppose, at least without knowing more about the new campaign and possibly playing it (if only I weren't an Australian, then I could probably get a Vault Campaign going) but I'm just super excited. The premise of them focusing heavily on party building is something that just really works for me because that is absolutely the best part of a D&D Video Game when done right.

Speaking of Vault campaigns, if BG3 does feature a DM mode, those can be a thing. It can already be a thing with DOS2, but the amount of time it must takes to craft one (not only build the story, enemies, encounters, but actually, physically build the map) must be daunting. Perhaps as a "group project", as in, some people get together to build the scenarios/maps and share the archives between themselves, and then present the campaign as an official Tamriel Vault story/game.
How cool would that be? Damn. But we do need enough people with interest, time and talent not only to craft the campaign using Larian's tools (which were actually the same ones used by them to build their game, so we can make something truly awesome and unique), but actually play it, lol. And it becomes a problem without cross-play...
Anyway, just an idea.
