I'm pure melee, besides a few fireballs the only magic I used was heal and combustion.

Does anyone play Demon's Souls anymore? I just bought it and I don't feel like putting down a sign then sitting around somewhere for an hour just so no one can summon me.

Is Iron Flesh in DS1 the same as in DS2. If I wore 2 Havel's Rings and had a shitload of equip burden would I be able to roll or is it just a forced walk.

I've beat them first on NG++ and then beat them on regular. I personally struggled more with the Bloodborne DLC.

NG++ was sorcery I think. I may have respecced to dark at one point. On NG I used a quality build.

Yeah, I relied on the raw santiers spear with a buff on my sorc. It has a long range on its one handed moveset so I didn't have to get too close to the enemies. The first DLC was the hardest for me, although I never did the "optional" blizzard area in the third one.

Do you have problems with bosses (or a particular boss) or the enemies in the DLC areas?

And on what platform do you play?

  • June 25, 2016 4:33 AM EDT

PS3 i have problems with all of the bosses.

Matt Nickolas Herzog, I have to answer here cause I cannot click reply on your reply for some reason.

Something that has helped me a lot with the bosses in the DLCs was changing how I roll. I used to roll at the startup on the Boss attacks in the vanilla game, but the DLC bosses have a tendency to delay their attacks, so try to roll at the last possible second. Also having a lot of Adaptability (for Agility) helps with the i-Frames of your rolls.

Also, generally try to roll into the attack and not away from it, otherwise you will get hit. Best example for this in the DLC is Aava from the Ivory King DLC, a very hard boss but by rolling into the direction where his paws come from it gets a lot easier.

    Hope this helps a bit

The rolling away may be my problem. I'll try it.

I sit my back agents the wall. My own blood drips onto the floor. My hands are shaking barley able to grip my broken sword. My shield shatter lays on the floor. This monster that stands before my has slain hundreds of warriors more skilled then i. Yet i steel my self for i refuses to sit hear and die. If it wants to feast on me. i will make it fight fore its own life.
