This is my favorite naming convention I've seen in this thread.

I approve of this whole post.  The level of vulgarity is out of place for the blog, but that's what makes it a gem.

Depends on what the enchantments are though and what type of character you play as ex assassin, warrior, mage ect.

I'm surprised but glad this wasn't deleted - I hate being censored, but I knew when I posted this I was pushing my luck! But I'm an adult and like adult stuff

    Usually something artifact-y sounding

If not, combine the weapon and enchantment. Guess what the "Soul Miner" is

I feel like a lot of my enchanted weapons turn out to be Cross-fiction artifacts or equipment. Drizzt's scimitars, cattie-brie's bow, maybe bring over the mythic swords of Eldon Thompson's fiction. Possibly research all the Valyrian Steel pieces from The Song books. And of course, digging up old, unused artifacts from previous TES games and using them in new was to fit Skyrim.

Atm I have a Nord Hero Sword that I kept unenchanted so I can use elemental fury.

However I always carry a Stalhrim sword enchanted with frost damage + shock damage that I named "Dragon of The North". I believe it deals around 190 physical damage plus 92 frost damage and 60 shock damage (I have the augment perks).

It's pretty op but I only use it when I REALLY want something dead (I'm looking at you Legendary Dragons)

I especially like Eclid! I think I will use some really cool thematic names when I play Mason's arcane archer again.

Alas, that was just one time. I was messing around with names

Could try writing a character build around it

What would you guys name a blade's sword enchanted with absorb stamina? Looking to fit somewhat of a dark theme with this one.

  • March 11, 2015 12:41 AM EDT

    The Leechblade.

Eternal Slumber or something along those lines maybe Eternal Rest would be better

What type of name are you looking for? Something descriptive (i.e., Martin)? Fantastic (i.e., Tolkein)? Pragmatic (i.e., TES generic weapons)? Here are a few quick ideas to cover each of those conventions.

    • Endurial
    • Vitrius
    • Essenthrax
    • Heartbinder
    • Willbreaker
    • Gritweaver
    • The Consumer
    • The Devouring Edge

I think of clever and sometimes funny names for my enchanted weapons. For example, any bow with a frost enchantment I call "Jack Frost's Bow". Or any weapon I made at the skyforge when I enchant it I have skyforge at the beginning, for example Skyforge Dragonbone Greatsword.
