I just wanted to see what some skills people think would be almost "polar opposites" (thanks ShinJin :D ) and maybe someone could use that idea to make an interesting build.... I dunno just an idea, let me know what you think, and again thank you to ShinJin and also Henson

I know I mentioned it earlier, but Restoration and Conjuration have always seemed like polar opposites to me, but the combo makes for a pretty powerful character.

I don't imagine I'd think to pair up Light Armor with Two-handed (for hammers, that is... greatswords are ON).

You could possibly do hammers, you would just have to use that one shout that improves swing speed (can't remember what is called)

Block and Archery, and One and Two Handed are probably the best you can get.

You might be able to go two handed and one handed, set it up as an Orc, go in with two handed activate the racial power orcs have and then switch to dual one handed weapons to act as if he went into a rage and started to tear into his/her enemy? Just a thought :p

WAIT!!!! He may be a saint! What about conjuration? Go in with a shield to block with, then summon something, THEN summon a bow. BOOOOOM! Archery and Block!

    Heavy Armor and Sneak, maybe?

Two handed and Illuison, for some reason they always clash for me.

    I would go with these:

Smithing and Enchanting (mundane vs. arcane crafting)

Destruction and Restoration (take a guess)

Alteration and Mysticism Illusion (physical vs. mental spellcasting)

Block and One/Two Handed (defensive vs. offensive use of hands)

Get boots with muffle and it's like you're naked.

I got it. Use the Auriel Bow and shoot at enemies, and then when they get close, use auriel's shield for attacks and a restoration in your right hand

A lot of those seem like likely comboes

I'd say restoration and two handed are polar opposites. One has you healing via magic and the other has you dealing out tons of damage with brawn. You have high dps healing and low dps attacking. Brain and brawn.

Man, I guess opposites really do attract.

    Two Handed and Pickpocket.

Both just invoke such different types of characters. You can have a sneaky barbarian (and it works quite well), but Pickpocket is such a delicate, thiefy art.

I'm going with opposites, not unlikely combos. If I was talking about unlikely combos, I would bring up these:

    One Handed and Two Handed

    Two Handed and Archery

    One Handed and Archery

As you can see, this is a very exciting list.

There's always deadly bash, and the blocking with a bow glitch is almost useless without block runner.

About archery and block one of the builders who left this site had a buidl that used auriel's bow and shield

He hasn't left the site. Radriar's fiend uses those items I believe. L2CB :p

I feel like I've done all the opposites intentionally. Bethesda has created wonderful synergy between all skills, really.
