Lost to the Ages quandry - Crown, Staff, or Shield?

    My current Dovahkiin is an extremely odd build using the following main weapons:

    1) an Ebony Warhammer enchanted with Soul Trap

    2) The Nightingale Bow

    3) The Wabbajack

    and

    4) Destruction spells

    She also wears the full set of Guild Master Armor with the Amulet of Articulation and a stolen Ring of Sneaking.

    She has begun Lost to the Ages, which I know there are three possible items I can get her at the end of the quest (but only enough materials to craft one.)

    Should I get her the Aetherial Crown, then combine something like the Apprentice Stone and Atronach Stone (Magicka absorption without the Atronach penalty!)

    or should I get her the Aetherial Staff (she's currently at level 29, so she will conjure a Dwarven Spider Worker or a Dwarven Sphere)

    or should I get her the Aetherial Shield (causes foes to become ethereal for 15 seconds, giving her time to regroup or rethink her strategy.)

    Aetherial Crown. No other option.

    To which response?  The Crown or the Shield?

    (BTW, I am thinking Crown because I have both hands full (my warhammer or my spells,) so the Staff or Shield would not work.

    Since you have a odd build, I suggest the Crown with Shadow Stone. Get close to your target and smash his head.

    The Crown for your build. I found the staff to be glitched half the time and the shield doesn't feel like it works with this set-up.

    Thanks - Jacqueline P. "Jackie" Liddell has the Aetherial Crown - now, to work on smithing to build her armor as well as possible!

    Shield! So underrated and so incredibly powerful. Wabbajack and AS is DEVASTATING

    If you've chosen the Aetherial Crown I highly recommend throwing the Shadow Stone on it, you're a fun seeming their/mage combo which should be able to deal damage but it is a whole lot of fun to spam the Shadow Stone around the field taking out enemies whenever and however you want.

    I have a question - will the staff work with Advanced Atronach 100%  absorption?

    Any of them can be interesting but the crown is obviously the strongest. Unlimited use of the ritual or serpent stone by unequipping and re-equipping it...
