  They're about a week old now. Long story short, a friend told me a vet had some rats dumped, went to check it out and found the babies on the ground with mum nursing them. How could we say no?
  
  Best part is, two already have homes!

  A sort of half update of what I've been up to in my absence from the blog 

  Got accepted into a college and will be moving there in August. In the mean time, however, I'm making up decorations that are cheap to make the dorm at least livable.

  Congrats!  Nice work! I know how hard it is sometimes to keep the dorm room tidy and pleasing to look at with a student budget

  That was my Dovah. He was the sweetest little thing and was always causing laughs. Sadly, he passed away a few months ago from a lung infection

  My girlfriend had rats when she was younger and wanted to have some more. I had a friend who bred them and we got three three beautiful boys - ALtair, Ezio and Dovah. Now we have sixteen 

  They are quite friendly, intelligent and low-maintenance animals. Quite like dogs, but smaller.

  Must be nice. I have 3 very high maintenance dogs. Tarquinius stole my pillow and side of the bed this morning. He was too cute to move, damn him.
