What i mean is, do you prefer your characters to be normal and good looking or do you prefer them to be skinny, stunted, ugly, old or with a physical defect of some sort? (Scars do not count) Personally i prefer my characters to look a bit odd, just for roleplaying and immersion.

I like my characters to look good. Especially my Bretons.

Depends on the character. Many of my characters are warriors and tend to be scarred and battered. My mages are petite and often look presentable.

I'm playing two elderly characters at the moment, and one with severely disfiguring scars. Four are of above average attractiveness, two are normal ordinary looking folks and another goes out of her way to be horrifying and intimidating with tattooing and wild hair. Some of them care about dressing well, some of them wear beat-up old leather or smelly furs, some wear immaculate dress robes and some ratty robes. It depends on the story. But I do try to play variation, for the sake of my own RP interest. I like diversity, it keeps me from getting bored.
