    Assassin mages, mostly.

    ...With some warrior.

I guess that makes it a hybrid... I dunno. I just play whatever feels fun to me.

Sword and board warrior with something extra mixed in. Sneak or archery or a couple magic schools.

Clerics - priests, monks, shamans.  And hybrids - spellswords, nightblades.  Also, stealth archers.  Hard to choose :)

Scouts:  Light/medium armored, quick on their feet, specializing in either swords or archery, limited magic (usually utility magic).  They have a kind of "Three Muskateer" feel to them.

Hybrid, usually using Archery as a main and one other support skill.

Conjurer/Archer/Sneak/Illusion hybrid enhanced with Alchemy/Enchanting wearing Light Armor (Scaled).

Here is what I'm attempting at so far on the Calculator site:

    http://chrizel.github.io/skyrim/#t/13/8c5x2o,8vn0xy,m798xs,e0o,0,-s...

all of the essentials that assist the core* ideal build for my style :)

Later I may add or adjust it,- but when I decided to go this route it was a pure compliment to the way I play ( some may say my build lacks the tankage or seems incomplete but that's them* :P ).  Dawnstar 'hidden chest' and ather quirks in the game help finance my alchemy+enchanting to boost any other skills I lack perks in and* to obtain all the houses needed storage. I don't play to Craft my way to tankage,- I try to enjoy the Agile Hunter approach to gaming.

O ya,- for some reason,- Scaled Armor seems overlooked by a wide variety of people. I noticed that wearing scaled armor early in the game is kind of OP and hella' easy to upgrade to Flawless/Epic,- here is a modified version of my build:

    http://chrizel.github.io/skyrim/#t/4/8c5zzk,-8vmzju,m798xs,e0o,0,-s...

I left a few things lacking Perks cause I'd simply make potions/armor enhanced for adaptation in any situation :P

Whenever I'm playing a non-specific build (and on my first playthrough of the game) I always tend towards Sneak, with daggers and bows, and some sort of magic. These aspects always seem to end up in all my playthroughs somehow. I guess you could say I'm a kind of Nightblade/Witch Hunter cross

I've always been partial to assassins/thieves. But I usually add fire destruction with my main character.

I love playing characters that use some sort of magic.  It's pretty rare that I do any sort of "pure" build, the exception being Pure Mage.  I find Pure Mage fun, challenging -  but it isn't my favorite.  My favorite, I guess, would be a Conjuring Sniper.  Someone who can summon allies, as well as their weapons, but also focuses on the more shady combat skills.  Usually results in me working on pickpocketing, Conjuration, Alchemy, Archery, and Sneak.

My favorite type is a pure 2-hand sword wielding warrior who don't use any sort of magic mumbo jumbo.

    Thief

And I don't mean an Assassin or a hybrid Thief/Assassin...I mean Thief (there's a massive difference).

My favorite character type is Archer. Sneak, straight forward, or with magic, but I need a bow. I just love bows
