ESO now canon, wouldn't that be bad?

This tweet, tweeted by the official ESO twitter, states that the game is cannon. As some of us know, MMO's can become a "plague" to lore. Now look at this picture. Now, I don't know if Argonians being vulnerable to poison is canon, due to Argonians being vulnerable to poison in Skyrim, but I'm pretty sure that this breaks the lore. Also, it is implied that the Argonian is scared to die, even though she stated "Praise Sithis!". Wouldn't that mean she would welcome deaths embrace? Also, as many of you saw in some official gameplay footage, the player made the eyes of their Dunmer character a color other than red. Now, a Dunmer can only have red eyes because of all the stuff with the Chimer and Azura's curse and blah blah blah. Now, wouldn't this hurt the TES series in whole?
