Songs of Cyrodiil: The Dance of Bravil

  • The Dance of Bravil is a popular ballad amongst the Imperial youth. A common way to perform this ballad is a duet where each singer takes their turn to sing a stanza and then together in the chorus.

    Do you remember of Bravil?

    On that one sunny day?

When we met in that Festival,

We danced like twas’ the end of days.

Oh my love, how could I forget?

Of the drums that beat hard?

When we met in that Festival,

And I knew you’re the one.

And so we’ll dance till the music’s done,

When the beer dries and skooma’s gone,

We’ll dance till the morning sun,

When the guards spoil the fun.

    Do you remember of Bravil?

    On that one rainy day?

When the gale-winds blew harsh and cold,

We danced like twas’ the end of days.

Oh my love, how could I forget?

    Of the frost and shivers?

When the gale-winds blew harsh and cold,

    I never let you go.

And so we’ll dance till the music’s done,

When the beer dries and skooma’s gone,

We’ll dance till the morning sun,

When the guards spoil the fun.

    Do you remember of Bravil?

Where we laughed and where we cried?

Where we met and where we loved?

To the end of my days

And so we’ll dance till the music’s done,

When the beer dries and skooma’s gone,

We’ll dance till the morning sun,

When the guards spoil the fun.
