Diving deeper

It is my honor to bring to you my second blog post, which will, hopefully, be filled with words that will put a smile on your face, or that will just make you think.

Many of you might be asking to yourself: "Why is this guy blogging about random stuff on our precious website?" and believe me, I am wondering myself too.

I keep convincing myself that these blogs will eventually lead to Skyrim, the game that bonds me with you, the reader of this humble blog. In some way, I owe the fact that I am finally able to write for a bigger audience to this game. But this was not the intention of this post, I wanted to explain what my plans were for this blog.

I am in no way a good, talented, or even funny writer, but I enjoy it, and for me that is the most important thing about writing, or about anything, for that matter. For me, a blog is a place to talk, to think out loud. To me, a blog is a place where i share stories, ideas and just stuff I thougt would be interesting.

This blog will be the place where I will share thought about the land of Skyrim, be it as myself, or as a character i have yet to invent. My primary goal of this blog is to bring you guys together. After each blog, I will ask you a question that will decide what I will write about the next time.

In a way, you will help me decide how I will play Skyrim, and I will keep you updated with this kind of blogs. It will be like a child we will raise together. Woven troughout this adventure will be my own experiences, ideas and plans.

This week's question is a simple one: Where does our adventure start?

    Thank you for reading,

    your fan

    Jules

As the other replies seem to be saying, I recommend that you play through the tutorial in Helgen, get to a destination of your choosing, and then begin your story in earnest. When I read journals or blogs about Skyrim playthroughs, I tend to skip over the...  more
