A Certain Shine

  • A Certain Shine

Stored away within this humbled pouch of mine

It does not compare to that which freely comes with me

For within this little pouch of mine

Is nothing more than something free.

    That which follows me freely

Adds a specific light in my life

Something worth more than any contract

Something that no price can ever buy.

In the solitary life that which belongs to me

    Company comes and company goes,

Being alone is something that takes hold

    No matter how old.

A certain shine pierced through my lonesome viel,

Bringing life to me once again.

A certain shine that follows me freely

Is someone I can never pay back.

To one as fearsome as I to find someone

Is a shock to one and all for sure,

That she would stay with me at all

Is a relief to my weary soul.

To the one that made me feel something other than who I am

I give my love, and thanks, to you

    My beloved shine of mine

    My beloved Serana.

That's awesome. I admit "that pouch of mine" made me think it was a euphemism.
Trouble with Serana is that she reminds me of a TV model who I sometimes see when I "accidently" channel surf over to those channels. I can't have her as a companion anym...  more

It pertains to my blog, Ebon. This I have it (in my mind) maybe a few weeks after the final chapter of it.

Had to write poems a lot in my middle school and high school so this crap is easier for me.

Well looks like I'm the only one making a short story for this week.
Problem about me writing poems is that I'm still at a beginner's stage in learning.

    @Lyall
It's worth it to try something that doesn't need pages and pages in a word document

Oh, I don't speak the language, I just have to write in it. My fault for making my character a 240+ year old virgin priest poet thing. LOL
