A Hero comes with ice and steel in hand,
His Maiden’s shield is braced with Stendarr’s might.
They meet with Alduin in vicious fight,
the dragon hunt he brought across my land.
The Hero’s Maiden watches with delight
As he revokes great Alduin’s palace grand.
The earth he scorches, never to be fanned
If throated flames shall never be alight.
Though Hero may one day no longer be.
Where his path leads, it cannot be foreseen.
Our love for heroes must not yet be misplaced
Should hatred drown his honest heart at sea
As he pursues the first of Hero’s name.
I pray to Hircine, let him ride with haste.

Honestly, I tried to not have those last few lines in the sestet, but they just fit in so well I couldn't resist. A little tinkering later and it was yet another poem about the hunting.
