The Parting Glass -- TOC

  • "Let's get something straight before we begin: almost everything you have ever heard about me is a lie."

     

    In the year 394 in the Third Era a ragged little five-year-old boy came into the care of a Breton woman running an ill-reputed wayside in on the road between Skingrad and Bravil. This is the (mostly true) tale of how that boy came to find himself not only Count of Anvil, but also the cursed guildmaster of a group of thieves.

     

    Author's note and content warning: Please note that this story contains mature content, including violence, some sexual content, non-consensual themes scenes of animal slaughter, pregnancy loss, alcoholism, swearing, and some brief and non-graphic themes of (consensual) underage sex.

     

    And please accept my apologies if I've made any mistakes (whether ettiquette or otherwise). I'm new to this site.
