Saturalia Meeting

  • ESO Story Saturalia Meeting
Cast: Ciel’nn, Nathaniel (mine) / Mendan, Vevan (my sibling’s)
Place: Glenumbra, Daggerfall Rosy Lion Inn
    ___

The Rosy Lion Inn was noisy when the two vampires walked in, and the younger vampire looked around. His lips curved into a smirk as he saw a lonely Breton sitting in the far corner table. What a coincide! Ciel’nn wondered where the bosmer werewolf was - usually she was tagged with the Breton.

“Look, Vevan! There’s the Breton!” Ciel’nn said loud enough for the Breton to hear him. He observed the young man looking at him in a mild shock and possibly cursing quietly. It made the young vampire smirk even more.

“By Azura! Not again, Ciel’nn!” Vevan groaned as sensed his friend being up to something. Ciel’nn still haven’t learned to be properly vampire - instead he behaved wildly which caused Vevan feel a lot older than he actually was. Yes, he felt like an ancient vampire. “Behave, please. I don’t want to another ruckus to happen. I’ll be close by.” He grumbled and shifted towards the empty space near the corner table.

Ciel’nn put his innocent face when Vevan shot him a frown, then he marched towards the Breton. The young man was trouble by his presence in the Inn, Ciel’nn could tell that. With a confident smirk, he sat  down on a chair, opposite the man. “Oh, Mara help me!” He heard the Breton groan. Ciel’nn chuckled. “Don’t worry, Nath. I just fed. How is my favorite, hand some Breton?” Ciel’nn felt Vevan’s watchful eye on him, but kept his eyes on Nathaniel. “Where’s Mendan?” Handsome man… I wonder how his blood tastes.

The templar cast his eyes down. He should had said Arkay instead of Mara but it would only anger the vampires. This younger vampire made his skin crawl even they were friends now. Maybe it was that intense stare with hunger. What kind of hunger? He didn’t know. Nath cursed his father’s bloodline for getting good looks, and it was attracting vampires on his side. “I.. I’m good? Mendan should be here soon.” Don’t look at me like that! Mendan, please hurry.

“Soon? That would spoil my fun, Nath.” Ciel’nn replied while he licked his lower lip and let his gaze wander around the Inn. Everyone was enjoying Saturalia; half of the men at the Inn were positively drunk already - even the dragon knights and other templars, whose tend to give him trouble. Maybe it would be nice and undisturbed night. Ciel’nn could only hope. He wrinkled his nose. She’s here.

The door opened and a bosmer with an eye patch walked in. She walked towards the templar, and the vampires near him. She looked to the older vampire, who narrowed his eyes, but remained cautious as he observed the situation. Vampires…at least this one knows to behave. “Hey! Stay away from him, vampire!” She nearly hissed as walked over to Nath and hugged him. “Did he hurt you, dear?”

Nathaniel blushed as a rose, but shook his head. “No.” He was glad the bosmer lady was there with him. She made him smile like a puppy. Maybe it would balance the scene now, but the templar didn’t hoped for a brawl. Last time it was a messy one and half of the Inn furniture got destroyed because the dragon knights had picked on Mendan and Ciel’nn. The bullies!

“Mendan,” Ciel’nn said  as neutral as possible, but he couldn’t help his teeth being gritted together. “I didn’t even touch him!” he added, glancing at the Breton. “Yet, and you won’t be!” He heard the bosmer snapping at him, and Ciel’nn rolled his eyes. “There goes the fun!” He paused for a while. “So, what do you guys take?”

The evening was peaceful with Vevan reading his book, Ciel’nn listening to Nathaniel’s stories from Alik’r desert and how he was suppose to save a prince. Mendan mainly kept an eye on Ciel’nn and stayed close to Nathaniel, occasionally caressing his hair. Ciel’nn told them that he was decorating his new home at Vvardenfell and complained how expensive some items were.

“Why don’t you sleep in a coffin?” Mendan asked when Ciel’nn took a sip of Double Bloody Mara.
“Eh, I still like my comfy bed. If I need a coffin and a company I just go over Vevan’s place.” He heard Vevan’s cough, but smirked. “What? I’m sure they…” He looked to the Breton, who flushed hard. Some pieces locked in their places. “See, the Breton confirms it!”

“Hey! Watch it!” Mendan hissed, but Ciel’nn on. “I’m sure that massage is more than a massage. Eh, Nath?” He laughed, aware of the bosmer lady, who was getting angry. “Does she tire you out?” He grinned, knowing his fangs were shown.

A growl from Mendan was a sign for Vevan to intervene and he stepped closer to Ciel’nn. The older vampire grabbed the youngling by the collar and began to drag him out. “Hey, what now?” Ciel’nn nearly snarled. “Enjoy Saturalia!” And, he knew Nath would understand him - at least some in degree. Vevan opened the door by his free hand and harshly tossed Ciel’nn out. “We’re going home!” and walked out.

I only really know Ciel'nn through your pictures, Cal. He's a lot more flirtatious and naughty than I expected :D I really like the setting too, set while the New Life Fest is happening makes it so easy to picture the scene.

I will certainly think on that :) I'm always wary of following a blog series due to my work load and how I can manage it. I often fall behind on a series when things are busy and always feel guilty when that happens. You're all so talented and dedicated t...  more
