  You are a candle

   

  Of flickering flame

   

  And I the moth your fire singed

   

   

   

  You are a snake

   

  Of slithering lust

   

  Your wet coils on my flesh

   

  So tightly wrapped

   

   

   

  You are a bride

   

  Of velvety midnight

   

  And I must spirit you away

   

   

   

  You are a drop

   

  Of liquid nightshade

   

  Your fell whispers twist

   

  Beneath my skin

   

   

   

  You are a fruit

   

  Of forbidden sin

   

  And I have held you ‘twixt my jaws

   

   

   

  You are a honeypot

   

  Of poisoned nectar

   

  Your soft taste yet remains

   

  Tainting my lips

   

   

   

  You are a lure

   

  Of cruel-hearted fishermen

   

  And I the beast so foolishly snared

   

   

   

  You are a nymph

   

  Of wispy desire

   

  Your sweetness still lingers

   

  Upon my sting

   

   

   

  You are a doll

   

  Of delicate porcelain

   

  And I shall make you mine once more
