Silver and the kids made it back safely to Castle Volkihar. Tulen looked at the unconscious form of the silver werewolf, found water

in the nearby basin and splashed some of it onto Silver's muzzle. The wolf awoke, her injuries caused her to revert back to her

reptilian form, the Argonian awoke minutes later. Tulen looked bewildered at Drujeeta's naked body. "Stay right here while I, er, get

    you some clothes."

Milsha scurried away to a dresser that sat in an upstairs room and came down carrying some clothes. Milsha gave Drujeeta a blue

shirt and brown trousers to wear. They were all wondering who the mysterious wolf was but did not dare to say anything. Drujeeta

broke the silence, speaking the one question that was on everyone's mind.

"Who is this mysterious white wolf that orchestrated the attack on New Sheoth?" She asked. The three of them walked up the stairs

near the back of the castle to an open room on the second floor, a vampire woman with black hair and pale skin eyed them with

bright red eyes. The vampire and the Argonians introduced themselves. Serana told them it was her father's study. They walked over

to two bookselves that sat against the back wall.

"There has to be something that can point us in the right direction." Drujeeta said picked one book up after another, tossing them

aside. Drujeeta passed the long wooden tables in the foyer to where Serana stood, shaking with frustration. Drujeeta laid a clawed

hand on the vampiress' shoulder. "Serana, perhaps I can help." Serana said that an extra hand would not hurt. The Argonian said a

spell in a tongue that Serana never heard before. A bright yellow glow lit up the area in which they were standing and revealed a

hidden bookcase just off of Harkon's study. Seconds later, the yellow light faded.

Serana couldn't help but llet her jaw drop because of how in awe she was of Drujeeta's skill. Drujeeta and Serana proceeded to the

area were the yellow light was. The exited the library area and walked past the four wooden tables, which had food and dead bodies

on it from which hungry vampires could drink blood, until they came to a staircase with two branching starcases, one that lead to the

left side on the castle and another to the right. They walked up the left starcase until they came to a brightly lit chamber with a fire

burning in the hearth to their left, a throne to their right and tables, bookshelves and display cases littered all about the room.

Drujeeta called upon the spell again, an aura appeared denoting each item and beings in a different color. Humans in red, objects in

a golden light and undead are seen as white because they have no souls.

Drujeeta and Serana told the kids to stay while they investigated the strange light that eminated from one of the wardrobes that

stood against the wall next to a display case which contained a werewolf pelt. Serana walked over to the glowing wardrobe and tried

to get it open, it would not budge, A fireball spell shot past Serana and her horror, the wardrobe burst into flames. When the flames

dissipated, she could see a small opening in the brown and green door. Serana beckoned one of the hatchlings to follow her. Drujeeta

let her hands fall to her sides and as she did, the life auras faded.

When they all were inside the strange wardrobe, they could see a huge cavern that extended deep under Volkihar castle, Serana

took a torch from her bag and lit it.

They all proceeded deeper into the darkness.

"Where do you think this leads?" Serana asked, not having seen any hidden cave despite her sneaking around the castle for years

She waited for an answer but the Argonian did not respond, she just continued following a sound that only she could hear. They

walked for miles as the cavern seemed to extend endlessly. Serana stopped suddenly, Drujeeta and Quinchal came up behind her

and if they had not seen the reason why Serana has stopped, they would have ran into her. On the wall of the chamber they now

stood in was decorated with ancient nordic carvings, between each carving were situated candles that shone bright orange in the

dark chamber. In the middle of the room that they stood in was a book that lay open upon a black marble plinth.

Upon the plinth surrounding the strange book were vampire and werewolves skulls each turned to face the book at their center. Upon

closer inspection, one would find that the vampires skulls were whole while the wolf skulls were almost ground to dust.

"What is this? A ritual of some kind?" Drujeeta asked

Milsha gaped as she came up beside her. Serana shook her head,

"Can't be, because there are no candles near the items in question. As for the skulls, I have no idea."Unseen by themr, a male

imperial with brown eyes, long black hair and matching beard stepped out from the shadows. He smiled evily, his eyes seemed to

    glow in the darkness.

Everyone, including the tsaesci werre caught off guard by this suprise visitor,

"Oh, Serana, you will never understand. Why must I explain everything to you, foolish child?" He asked.

His eyes scanned the darkness and they fell upon a creature he did not know.

"Who is this tasty creature?" He asked, licking his lips.

    Serana introduced her friends,

"Father, this is Drujeeta." She told him. "This," She said gesturing to her right "is Quinchal."

Harkon moved closer to the Argonian, not wanting to take his eyes off of her. He could smell that sweet sanguine liquid within her,

"Lizard, want to stay for dinner?" He asked, feeling hungry. "My lord, unironically, requests the death of your kind for you besmirched

his good name by mixing his lot with foul dogs.

The Argonian snarled at this and flung herself at the vampire lord. Harkon's eyes lit up as anger flooded though him and likewise

flung himself at Drujeeta. He missed the Argonian by mere inches, stratching the cavern wall,

"Damnit lizard, stand still!" He shouted, "the wolves who befouled my lord's pure bloodline be purged!"

He failed to notice his daughter, who was standing five feet from him. Harkon lunged for Drujeeta, but he felt silver pierce his chest.

"Purge this you son of a bitch!" Serana yelled as the blade dug deeper in the vampire's chest

Harkon let out a deafening scream. It was so loud that the whole cavern seemed to shake with the sheer force of that scream, White

light began to fill Harkon's body, disassembling it from the inside out. Harkon looked down, wide eyed, at his body, which had begun

to become stained with red liquid,

"What...have...you...done?" He choked, blood pouring from his mouth.

Serana wrenched the blade from the vampire's chesst, wiping it clean with a cloth that he pulled from her leather bag before

    sheathing it again,

"Luckilyy, this castle has plentiful silver swords." she said. "Ironic, isn't it," she said, smiling slyly, "as we vampires shrink away at

the mere sight and stench of silver."

Serana walked away; as she did, he looked over her shoulder and watched as Harkon fell onto a pool of his own blood,

"Well, Drujeeta you said something about a book?" The vampiress asked.

Drujeeta and Quinchal walked over to the skulls and began scrutinizing them while Serana walked to the book and began to read.

"TThe marriage which took place in the region of Alinor on the isles of Summerset, enraged the creator of vampires as his servant

solidified her union with the scaly denizen of Blackmarsh and who was also a child of Hircine."

She paused, took a breath and continued,

"The progenitor of vampires made a vow soon thereafter that he would personally see to it that all lycanthropes are permanently

banished from the realm known as Mundus."

"How is he going to carry that out?" Drujeeta asked,I" mean, Tamriel has hundreds of lycanthropes, not to mention Nirn itself which

has Hircine noes how many more."

Serana's face screwed up in anger as she punched drujeeta in the shoulder for her impertinence,

"You idiot." Serana hissed, "Didn't you listen? He is only after werewolves, not other lycanthropes. His creatures are now tainted with

the blood of werewolves. He couldn't care less what happens to the other lycanthropes."

Drujeeta nodded solemnly and slapped her forehead,

"Oh, I am such a hatchling, that's what that meant, sorry Serana, I, er, got the meaning confused.

Serana shut the book and looked away in disgust. She turned to Drujeeta  who was eyeing the wolf skulls curiously,

"Serana, what I had initially thought was dust, " She said scooping some of the dust in her hands, "is not, hmmm... it don't know

where this colored dust comes from." Serana grabbed a handful of the dust as well. She had a better idea where the bluish-grey dust

had come from however, "Drujeeta, this dust... it came from," Her eyes widened as a strange light burned within them, "By the

gods, this dust came from Coldharbour." She looked up at the ceiling, "Molag Bal, it is not enough that you created vampires, now

you seeek to keep our bloodline pure by hunting down werewolves like rabid dogs?"

Seconds later, the cavern erupted, making rocks and stalactites cascade from the ceiling,

"Serana, how dare you question my intentions." The voice boomed indignantly, "I am only looking out for my creations and plan to

cleanse them of blood that was tainted long ago by the insolent Aldmer who married one of those filthy dogs. I am only trying to

    protect you and your kind."

Serana face grew red as a crimson nirnroot,

"Protect us from what? if you think keeping the bloodline pure will save it, then you are sorely mistaken. Keeping vampires pure will

only cause the extinction of your 'children.' Look around you Molag Bal, the vampires that roam Tamriel, I am willing to bet half of

them aren't even pureblood and have some human or, dare I say, beast blood, inside their veins."

She shook her head in disbelief,

"By the gods, You are so stupid, listen to yourself! Willing to keep one bloodline pure while killing off another just because they

aren't pure enough? You need some serious hellp if you think that is okay, because, I assure you, it is not." You think making the

bloodline impure will save it? On the contrary, making it pure will only destroy us!" Wee should embrace our impurities, not shun

them like a bad batch of blood."

"Serana, insolent child, listen to yourself, the werewolves are dragging us down from the glory we once held." Molag Bal boomed.

Serana said that they never had any former glory. That it is all in Molag Bal's head and that he needs to rethink his motives while

looking at it from Hircine's point of view. She told him he does not force his children to purge the vampires. She said that he

embraces that which makes his children different, he doesn't shun it.

The cavern fell silent once more. Serana felt proud of standing up to Molag Bal, after all that fiend had raped the first vampire and

subsequently created more children from that impure act. Why in Oblivion would he think it is okay to bestow that humilation on

anyone esle, lest kill becaause of some inconsequential impurity.

Pondering on this disturbing fact, the nord, the lizard and the tsaesci packed up the wolf skulls and book, left the cavern and found

themselves back in Lord Harkon's study.
