Hverg is an unofficial War-Smith who desires to create the most legendary armor known throughout Tamriel. For this purpose, he's trained under various master smiths, including Orcs and other Nords. When he heard the word of Dragons attacking Skyrim, he immersed himself in their lore, learning of the immense resistance of their scales and bones, as well as the Jagged Crown. He'd gathered his belongings and made his way towards Skyrim in the hopes of fulfilling his life goal.

A War-Smith is basically a Blacksmith that leaves his forge and goes out into the fray of battle. Their purpose involves using the knowledge of the Blacksmith for more direct, battle-related decisions and actions. The duties of a War-Smith include, but is not limited to, repairing broken gear during travel or when temporary base is set up gauging the opponent's strengths based on the type of equipment they wield, carrying various types of gear to be swapped out before and during battle, and assisting in stacking on damage to the enemy. They basically keep the soldiers well-equipped armor and weapon wise, and can be very helpful during wars of attrition.

War-Smiths use Destruction magic, specifically Flames, for the on-site heating of metals, and some even wield maces or hammers for one-handed combat. They're usually lightly armored for more mobility, save for their Gauntlets, which are usually heavily protected due to the importance of a smith's hands. Their gauntlets always cover their entire hand to make it easier to handle the hot flames and such.

Hverg specifically is equipped with an incredible weapon, a magical hammer that can grow to the size of a full maul or shrink to a compact Smithing Hammer at his discretion. It is filled with the might of the one who forged it, and has lived long enough to craft many a tool. This is the tool he plans to use to make his dream come true.
