Running out of stamina is even worse than in vanilla, as you can't even run, deal significantly less damage AND take more when you are exhausted. I know it makes Heavy Armor sound quite useless, but actually if you spend 3-4 perks in it and get your hands on proper armor, you take a lot less damage from everything physical, especially arrows. It even makes heavy armor viable, as in the base game you could just always roll a smithing + light armor build with just as much armor rating as someone in full daedric (which makes absolutely no sense, to be honest). You get used to it. My Altmer paladin had even bigger problems. That 40% weakness to magic sucks.
