Makes sense. I've never written a tailed character, but it does seem fun to have to use the tail as a primary means of expression. Makes me think that a tailed character losing their tail would make for an interesting chracter arc.
Hello Pylawn. Cool to see someone from UESP. It's been my main souce for learning lore over the years and slowly turned into my main source for anything Elder Scrolls.

Ooh, welcome to the site Pylawn, good to have you here. What's the name of the podcast you host? Despite the age of under 25 I can be a bit of an old man when it comes to adapting to technology so I'm a little late to the whole 'listen to podcasts' party and only just started them this year. Would be fascinated to give it a bit of a listen. :)

Good to see you again, Legion. I agree. The problem with huge open-world maps (in extension) is that you have to know how to make them, and there has to be a reason for you to make them. That reason can't be "because big maps are cool and trendy", otherwise you end up with a huge empty cask, devoid of real substance, like Assassin's Creed Origins, Odyssey or Ubisoft games in general, where you can clearly see the same assets for even major buildings, like temples, simply repeated all around the world. I'm not saying devs shouldn't repeat assets, far from it, but it's something to avoid, especially with landmark buildings, and if you have to repeat a landmark building even a single time, it's a sign telling you to stop.
But in Cyberpunk's case, I have a feeling that leaked map isn't showing the entirety of the Badlands. It's a map of the city, and I feel like there is some more land to the east of that highway between Santo Domingo and Westbrook... Unless the Badlands are in the Southwest (... less
Ever since "open world" became a genre, the emphasis has been on making maps BIGGER, as if 29 square miles of explorable land is worth anything on its own. Fallout 4 got their map dead on with verticality and fleshed out urban environments. I'm expecting similar results with Cyberpunk.

There is just a simple question, probably might have complex answersWhat is a soul in Elder Scrolls?
I would appreciate to anyone give their own thoughts respect what a soul is in Elder Scrolls universe, taking in consideration any TES reference, could be about lore, lore events, in-game quotes, in-game authors, lore-friendly characters, lore-friendly folk, lore-friendly beliefs, or even fan-fiction stories.
Here are some words to help you get some thoughts
Some topics that could be related to the soul:- What about the soulless one in TESO?, what is a soulless one?- Can a soul be used for other's practices?, If so what does that implies for the person who his soul is being used?- How is related to Aetherius, Oblivion realms; Soulcairn?- Soulstones... technically how they work, what is the process for the person under ritual involving h... less

I didn’t like it, and I didn’t really pay any attention to TES before seeing the Skyrim trailer. Fallout with swords looked likeit might actually work that time. And it did! Love Skyrim. It’s one of the few games I can say I’ve been obsessed with. This is the site that had all the answers to the questions I had, though I never asked them. I just watched the threads where other members asked those questions, and kept up with the newest posts. I lurked here for a year before joining. This is the one and only TES platform I’ve used. Before this site, I used Gamespot, and even then I only used it through google.
By “new games” I assume you mean FO76 and the TES VI picture at E3. Duuude. They’re pissed. A lot of them. Are piiiiissed. That’s not even what I think; it’s just a fact. But if ESO counts, then as far I’m aware, it’s still going st... less

Just breaking down anything and everything that is announced by Bethesda during their E3 conference, and hoping that we get Skyrim for your fridge like what they hinted at last year. It's not expected to be a huge year, especially with the announcement of the next-gen Xbox as 2020 (which we assume will mean more news for bigger games) but there's still a fair bit to be excited for. Fallout 76, Doom, Rage, maybe even Dishonored, Prey or something new.
Also, feel free to join the disucssion over at our Tamriel Vault Discord, which is going to be chatting about whatever is revealed (and a lot of stuff that isn't probably).

Hey everyone, welcome to the real start of E3 2019. Yesterday was EA Play as briefly documented in the central thread for E3, but very little happened there so today is the first day as far as I'm concerned. Microsoft starts us off and this thread will detail anything announced in as much detail as possible.
