The first time I tried this build I was playing on Adept, and I blew through the game with ease. The second time I took it to Expert, and of course made slight alterations, and still wiped everyone away with ease. Rather than create a new character I bumped it up to Master on the original Paladin, following Ponty's build precisely, and massacred everyone. I am replaying a very similar build on Legendary (The biggest difference is I dropped alteration entirely, I always forget to use it at higher levels anyways). The build is smashing through Legendary with incredible ease, bashing and blocking allows me to slay Bandit Chiefs at level 5. One trick I learned on Legendary (Since shield bashing becomes very important, since even blocking the hit doesn't help much until later) is use Vegetable Soup before a big fight, that way I can shield bash endlessly between swings. It made the Draugr Overlord in Bleak Falls Barrow an easy fight (I took literally no damage). Overall, I love this build, Ponty...thank you for making such a magnificent build that has been the basis for my new love of sword and board...well, mace and board now.
