Since this build utilizes the blessing of Talos, I thought it would be helpful to know of those locations (15). Here is a link showing the shrines and their locations (includes all divine shrines). They are mainly located in the eastern half of the map - Markarth's shrine being an exception.

Thanks for that, RuneRed. Just a relevant tip to add: Hearthfire is extremely useful for this build: it has basically all the components needed to quickly train Alchemy and Enchanting, and you can build your own Talos Shrine in the basement. Not to mention tons of storage, nice scenery, a handy carriage, etc. It takes away a lot of the chore of grinding, and lets you just get right into the meat of the gameplay. I recommend the Hjaalmarch (Morthal) house, since you can get a very handy Fish Hatchery (perfect for harvesting Abecean Longfin and Cyrodiilic Spadetail for those Fortify Restoration potions).

Fish hatchery that's clever, I'm glad you mentioned it - (this build is in my cue) . And building a shrine in Morthal is good too - not a Talos shrine in that area (methinks).

Yeah, the Hearthfire homes are probably the best access point for a shrine, since you can fast travel right outside the front door of your house. And even better because it can be used as a base for all other activities. Another advantage of the Morthal house is that it's right next to High Gate Ruins (where a word for Storm Call can be found). Also fairly close to Ustengrav, for Become Ethereal.

There's a bug where if you have both a shrine blessing and the amulet one of them will say 0%. If you actually look at your shout cooldowns though you can see they're both in effect.

^ What Ponty said. The blessing display is bugged, but the effect WILL be applied. To confirm, just go to your Shouts page in the Magic menu.
