This thread is simply to ask/answer any questions about role playing in Skyrim and other TES games.
Anyone can chime in with answers; the more ideas the better! Try to stay on topic as much as possible; threads like this can get unwieldy fast if a lot of tangents are thrown in.

Hello everyone, It's been awhile sense I've been on the site. Anyway, to the question at hand. I wanted to ask, how would a knight, or more warrior who helps people and is a general "Good guy" descend into madness, and the goal is for him to walk the golden road into Sheogorath's arms. But, I was wondering, what situations would best cause this, or if any of you have ideas I would really like to hear them. I do plan on him portraying both sides of the shivering isles, Mania and Dementia. Thanks in advance for any ideas, or comments.

And I'm back once again with a new character, who I need some role playing help with. So he's a dunmer archer, who has an unnatural thirst for knowledge in all shapes and forms. So I know I want him to be a type of researcher/scholar, And I have him using a bow as his weapon of choice. And of course I want him to end up being Hermaeus Mora's champion, The idea for the character came to me after the fact every single Mora worshiping character i've ever had has been a mage, sure he'll use magic a bit, but it won't be the main focus of him. Anyway, I went off topic, One he has a scar that runs down his eye, and I wanted some help with that, I had the idea of it was given to him by an abusive father, or a jealous brother, and I wanted to know how that would work with in Dunmeri culture, I plan for him to be either the outcast son of a telvanni lord or a loved son, though for me it's hard to see a telvanni lord as a loving father figure. And, I wanted some recommendations on rather his conjuration skill (the only magic skill he's going to have) Be atromancy or necromancy, Both I've been bouncing around in my head for a while, I think necromancy for the more "forbidden" Part of it, but I'd like second opinions. But, basically I just need some help on his backstory, I am so sorry this is so long, thanks anyone in advance for any replies.

Alright, I'm inclined to suggest that he earned the scar upon being cast out by his father, perhaps for pursuing some art or study they don't approve (hard to say, I'm not familiar with Dunmeri culture). I'd also lean toward atromancy for a champion of Mora, as it feels more analoguous to the summons that Mora employs.

What do you think a Hollow-Faced Man character would be like? I get that there is almost no lore about them other than they come from Nohotogrha in Hammerfell and it is a place where a lot of Satakal worshipers live.

Can anybody think of a reason for why a priest of Jyggalag would do the Dragonborn questline? I need the Dragon Aspect shout for my build but I'm not sure how to fit the quest in to the roleplay.

I'm quite shoddy at the lore in TES, or I'd try and help you. You can give me a link to the "lyggalag" and I can come up with something based off that.

I need a fresh idea for a play through using Radriar Never Die's Riften's Most Wanted. Any ideas as to why he'd descend into being a criminal?

Well Jyggalag is the Daedric Prince of Order, and Miraak is disrupting the order in Solstheim by forcing people to work for him via the corruption of the All-Maker Stones.
