Character Building Contest #5: Exotics

    Welcome to our latest Character Building Contest! The theme of this contest has already been touched on by other builds but will be interesting nonetheless. This time, players will be recreating an unplayable race from the Elder Scrolls universe. Alternatively, you can make a build that deals with an unplayable race in a different way, such as a Ayleid Historian or a Dwemer artifact collector. How you do so is completely up to you!     You may work by yourself or in a team with other members; I strongly recommend teaming up with people from groups like Art, Lore, or Roleplaying if you want to create something truly great!

    First Place - Gold

    1. Character artwork by Curse Never Dying for either the submitted build or another build of the winners’ choice

    2. Screenshots for either the submitted build or another build of the winners' choice

    3. A front page feature for the submitted build

    4. "Contest Gold" tag for the submitted build

    Second Place - Silver

    1. Screenshots for either the submitted build or another build of the winners' choice

    2. A front page feature for the submitted build

    3. "Contest Silver" tag for the submitted build

    Third Place - Bronze

    1. A front page feature for the submitted build

    2. "Contest Bronze" tag for the submitted build

    Rules and Guidelines

    1. Participants that are new to character building must read and understand both the Group Rules and Character Building Guide. I also recommend that you take a look at this Build Template in order to get a good idea of how to format your contest build.

    2. Builders must register in this discussion in order to participate. If you plan on working in a team, you must also register the people you’ll be working with.

    3. Contest builds must be posted between the 25th of May, 12:00 AM EST and the 7th of June, 12:00 AM EST.

    4. Contest builds must have “Contest Build:” at the beginning of their title rather than the normal “Character Build:” one.

    5. Submitted builds must include a Contest5 tag. All other tag rules still apply.

    6. Builds that aren’t based on a race other than the ten core races will be disqualified from the contest.

    7. One week after the deadline for posting contest builds, we'll check how many likes each one has. The build with the most likes wins.

    So just to clarify, to recreate this race, we can actually use one of the Vanilla races, right? I just don't want to go about downloading a ton of mods for this.

    Oh my, an interesting enough contest, Exotic Races hmmm. Yes I think I'll join in, though really I don't have the time to fully create a build at the moment. I'll happily join together with someone at this point, and I don't particularly care what race we do, but I'd love an Akaviri Race, I think they'd let me fully look into their lore with a good reason behind it

    Never heard of all those races :D, but I would be willing to team up with someone, mainly for gameplay/roleplay/art execution.

    Oh yeah! I've actually been thinking along similar lines myself. I'll do either a Maormer or Tsaesci/Akaviri.
