Character Building Contest #2: Racial Builds

    Welcome to the second Skyrim Blog Character Building contest! The theme of this contest, which the winners of the last contest helped me determine, is:

    Racial Builds

    In this contest, entrants must create builds revolving around a particular race. To spice this theme up, builds may only perk skills which their race receives a bonus to. You don't have to perk every racial skill, and you can still use other skills (just don't perk them!). You've got 10 races to choose from, so get creative - see what you can do with their existing skillsets and racial powers. I strongly advise integrating the background of your race into the roleplay and lore of your build. You are allowed to use Vampire Lord and Werewolf abilities/perks, but remember this is a contest about the 10 playable races - overusing these forms in your build can lose you marks in the creativity area. You may work in teams of up to 3 other members - build your team to have people covering all the bases!

    A panel which I will select will mark the submitted builds on their gameplay concept (how the build is played and creative use of the racial skills/abilities), presentation (structuring, spelling/grammar, and art), lore and roleplay. Here are the prizes - same as last time:

    First Place - Gold

    1. A build video done by me for either the submitted build or another build of the winners' choice
    2. Screenshots done by me for either the submitted build or another build of the winners' choice
    3. Input into the theme of the next contest
    4. Exclusive access to the judging panel of the next contest (only if not participating in said contest)
    5. "Contest Gold" tag for the submitted build!

    Second Place - Silver

    1. Screenshots done by me for either the submitted build or another build of the winners' choice
    2. Input into the theme of the next contest
    3. "Contest Silver" tag for the submitted build!

    Third Place - Bronze

    1. Input into the theme of the next contest
    2. "Contest Bronze" tag for the submitted build!

    So here are the rules/guidelines:

    1. You may work on your own or in a team of up to 3 others. You can come up with a team name if you like!
    2. Teams must register on this thread before the end of August. This date has now passed.
    3. Builds must be posted between the 14th and 21st of September. This date has now passed.
    4. Starting in September each group may send me something via PM they want feedback on from their build. Each member of the panel will give some advice to improve it. You may only do this ONCE. (If you need to add me, make sure you say it is for contest feedback). This is no longer available.
    5. Submitted builds must include a "Contest2" tag so I can find them
    6. Winners will be announced the judging is complete!

    Awesome! Can't wait. We had several great builds last, so I'm sure it will be the Same. :) somebody should use histskin and equilibrium, that would make a great build. :P
    Also, slight typo (I think?). "Since the submissions..." Should that be "Once the submissions...?" Did I miss the panel or have they not been selected yet?

    Racial emphasis will make for some great builds rooted in lore! Too bad Teccam posted his Swordsinger a few weeks early. It would have been a great contender! Perks would have been tough though...

    Yeah, the Sword-Singer wouldn't qualify with perks in Enchanting, Alchemy, and Conjuration.
