Dual-wielding axes, he is a whirlwind of death, made more deadly by the bears and wolves who run at his side. Primarily a melee fighter, he augments combat with conjuration.
The Beastmaster

In combat, the Beastmaster uses a combination of berserker strength, hunter's cunning, and bestial companions to overcome his foes.
Wearing leather and wielding axes, the beast master roams the wild. At low levels, or when alone, he may call spirit beats (Conjure Familiar) to his aid.
At home in the vast woodlands of Skyrim, Command Animal, and Animal Allegiance help him to dominate the land. Face a dragon with all the fury of the woodland at your back as bears, wolves, and beasts head your call.
The Beastmaster may also "tame animals" after subduing (killing) an animal, he may use 'Conjuration' to make up to two beasts temporary companions (12 minutes).
He is primarily a solitary creature who may take a hunter or trapperr as a follower, but would much rather a good horse and hound at his side.
With an Archer Companion, Dog, Horse, and Two Wolves, The Beastmaster commands a small army, even out of the wilds where he cannot call unending hordes of beasts to his aid.
The dogs of war
Roleplaying:
The Beastmaster travels alone, more at home in the vast wilds and tundras of Skyrim than its large cities. Wise, but of few words, he travels the land attempting to bring order, tranquility, and serenity to the land and all those who live in harmony with it. He cares little for material wealth, and would be more likely to pick up antlers and fur than rubies and gold. he would rather craft his gear than purchase it.
His natural enemies are those who disrespect the wilds and violate the natural order of things. He respects hunters, and great warriors alike. Undead, unnatural, their existence defying the cycle of life and death, must be slain. Dragons and large beasts pose as adversaries, rather than game. By slaying a dragon, the Beastmaster is defeating an honorable opponent, not simply killing an animal.
Complete quests having to do with beasts, animals, the order of life death, and the undead.
The Companions are a natural place to start, they will offer good training, quests, followers, gear, and very much fit the role play of the Beastmaster as he battles both internal and external foes.

Rexxar was the inspiration for this guy! I enjoy trying to translate Warcraft-type concepts into a Skyrim frame, it often yields really cool results.

I suppose the logical and Skyrim-appropriate endgame for this build would be Dragonscale Armor, on that note, Dragon Rend and Call Dragon should also be added, to the list of shouts. I guess my vision of the class is just less endgame.
After all, Alduin is basically the ultimate foe for the ultimate hunter.
